Our human egos carry the weight of karmic energies from past lives, this life, human biology, society standards and what we are taught. We learn to operate from this center of awareness. If we are practicing self-mastery in this lifetime, the goal is to transfer that awareness from the ego to the soul and upward to the multi-dimensional self.
Learning selflessness over selfishness is a process that requires all ego actions to be changed. In order to begin this process it becomes necessary to master negative thoughts. These thoughts limit and still our ability to manifest the best possible outcome, hence harming our bodies and our souls. Striving to replace these destructive thoughts with positive affirmations and hope-filled plans, we create responsibility for our own feelings. When we learn to give our attention to the spiritual meaning of the situation we can let go of blaming others for our negative thoughts and behavior.
It is our ego that says someone else made us feel a certain way. It is our ego that cries out for attention and validation where none is really needed. If we are truly desiring to reach the higher frequencies of healing and spiritual connection, we need to be responsible. We have the power in how we react or respond and no one else. We will all have negative thoughts and feelings come to us and we can learn how to transmute them by letting them flow through us like water. How we feel emotionally can change in a second, bringing in a sense of peace and self- control.
When we begin to feel out of control emotionally we start a downward spiral of negative thinking which greatly affects our bodies. Our thoughts and feelings control our physical health in incredible ways. It is greatly important that we send positive light to every cell in our bodies when we meditate and receive healing energy. From our Crown Chakra to our tippy toes we have the soul power to send our brain messages to keep us healthy. If we stay focused on the negative we take away an amazing spiritual gift that is available to us anytime.
We can replace the negative, needy, ego-driven parts of ourselves and we can truly feel the magnificence of the souls residing in these earthbound bodies. “I AM” are two powerful words. I am strong, courageous, balanced, grateful, in control of my emotions, responsible for my well-being, free, light-filled, a miracle, miraculous, hopeful, evolving, ascending are all great mantras. Forgiveness, gratefulness, empathy, faith, confidence, belief, manifestation become replacements for words of despair, boredom, blame, ignorance, anxiety and fear. Reactions from the ego become background noise and unheeded they are able to fall away to dissipate into the higher energy creating positive actions. We can be free from what others think of us to become in better union with our spiritual assistance. We can remember that even though we are all connected in humanity here, we are operating on different levels of knowledge and awareness.
It helps if we believe that tolerance and understanding are key in being able to achieve a peace that transcends control for power and the need to dominate or destroy each other. We have to be free of the need to control other’s thoughts and actions, whether they are right or wrong, allowing them the freedom to make their own choices! When we make sacrifices for each other even if there is no benefit for us, we are on the way to understanding unity, the ego and the soul. Rising above our own self-centeredness is not always easy. We have to allow for new thoughts and ideas to help us as we grow into understanding more about the consciousness inside us. Acceptance that we are in control of our ego at all times and that we can practice ways in which to bring more peace into our personal lives. We are responsible for our responses, actions and reactions. When we realize how true that is, just the thought helps our journey through the collective consciousness into a true reality.
How different would life on Earth be if we could all practice self-mastery instead of competing with each other for energy and control? Instead of trying to change each other, we grow to evolve ourselves into better understanding of the spiritual consciousness. We can learn to free ourselves from the drama and instead converse with the higher divine energies to create a healthy, thriving, peaceful existence.
