If a beggar walks down the street and you tell him to get a job he may thumb his nose. But if you are kind and talk to him with encouragement, he may change his path... if that’s his calling, either way you are giving love.

Arguing with a child pulls the energy of two people down. But asking him how he could do better, and have him decide which is the better path empowers him and you... and again you are giving love.
