ThetaHealing®NYC Celebrates First Anniversary

Although Eric Brumett, Sarah Faith and Tara Greenway have been ThetaHealers® for some time, they have officially been united as ThetaHealing®NYC Wellness Center and School for 1 year.  The anticipated premiere of We Are ThetaHealing®NYC, shot by Unarmed Media, was well received by the community members who supported it months prior.

With recent interest from wellness and lifestyle media to include Health Bird, Abiola TV, The Curvy Socialite, Stylishly Loud and The Good Men Project, the year ahead looks to be a time to launch programs such as online mind/body meditation segments on the newly launched ThetaHealing®NYC YouTube channel.

A teary welcoming by Sarah lead the way for additional comments by Eric and Tara.  The founders collectively shared that the community they have worked to create was a result of time, love and effort invested to ensure people would not only have the resource to take classes, certification courses and one-on-one sessions but a place for people to come together to learn and grow, the essence of their vision.  News was officially announced that in 2015 ThetaHealing®NYC will host Vianna Stibal, the founder of  ThetaHealing® and ThetaHealing® Institute of Knowledge (THINK) who is an internationally sought-after speaker.  Stibal is also an author with a multitude of books on the ThetaHealing® mind/body meditation published by Hay House, the most esteemed mind/body publisher in the world.  She is also the only qualified teacher of Basic Instructors and Advanced Instructors Classes which is taught globally.  The only Basic Instructors and Advanced Instructors Classes offered in the United States in 2015 will be at ThetaHealing®NYC.  The co-founders were honored to share the news and are eagerly preparing for what looks to be a very busy year ahead.

In the conversations inspired by the premiered video segments, guests to include Nikki Nichols, the co-founder of Buona Donna Productions, spoke to Eric about film being a powerful vehicle for transformation.  With the approaching premiere of Die, Crazy, Fat, her documentary, Nichols (and her creative partner Tonya Conrad) explore where exactly wellness initiatives could be best utilized by those in need of transformation, something the ThetaHealing®NYC team also looks to amplify locally, nationally and globally.

The evening was equal parts laughter, inspiration, good times and good food.  DJ Nightshade of Home Free Productions who is the DJ emissary of Putomayo World Music and also the summer DJ resident of Omega Holistic Institute provided a music selection from Brazilified, a mix of Samba, Bossa Nova, Hip Hop and Electronic.  The delicious, ayurvedic-friendly menu created by Chef Mireille included pumpkin hummus, Indonesian chicken satay, Paneer Lababdar, Dal, garlic chickpea pasta with seasonal vegetables and herb roasted chicken and inspired seconds.  The eco-chic table wares provided by World Centric Zero Waste Solutions was a welcomed conversation piece.  The team was also pretty sure the key ingredient found in Runa Clean Energy, Guayusa, and the generosity of Runa Foundation, had a little something to do with lifting attendees.  Well that and the organic Shaman Chocolates which has a mission to help sustain the economic and cultural survival of the Huichol Indians.   The team had a pretty good idea that their media pals would likely enjoy the Halo/Sharp conscious tarot deck, the chlorella rich Sun Potion, and swag from Miss Tea, MikesGotMyBack, Budget Friendly Fashion, Apricot Brown and Bella Vita Fitness.  Aromatherapist Ranessa Porter, the founder of the Rosemary & OM essential oil spray “Soul Purpose”, was also in attendance and an event sponsor.

In a room full of people who gently tap universal energy to embrace the power of healing and occasionally talk to Angels, we can’t help but think the 1 year anniversary for ThetaHealing®NYC is really a launching point to continue their wellness mission, one that is ultimately shared by numerous other health professionals, philanthropists and thought leaders in wellness and healthy living.

Eric Brumett taught my teacher ThetaHealing. I learned from her and the chain continues. It's a wonderful modality!
