August is a transition month which will release and objectify all the reorientations we've been thinking about since the beginning of the year. If you've been feeling held off, burdened or frustrated, you should notice a clear change of energy. Be adaptable, embrace new connections, stay in the flow, and you'll make the most of the period.

Mars is entering Sagittarius on August 2nd, stimulating new goals and a more optimistic vision after a few months of gloom. Time to move forward with your projects, fight for what you believe in or go on an adventure. If this is not enough to get you moving, a shift of energy happens on August 13th: Saturn is turning direct, bringing clues on what confines or limits us (hint: it has to do with beliefs) and lifting obstacles that might have been there since March. Also on the 13th, Uranus is quincunx to Jupiter, this is an energy of adjustment, rearranging things so we can feel fulfilled in our social roles.
Saturn conjunct Mars on the 24th can be a new positioning in some area of life or someone throwing up roadblocks, if so take it as a sign that you might not be acting authentically.
Lots of very creative energy during the last few days of the month should help us prepare for new horizons.

Hi Sophie,

Thanks for the submission. My name is Regina, I'm the Metaphysics Editor at OM Times. This is a great subject, but we need at least a month to turn around an article and publish it. This piece doesn't quite fit our submission guidelines and we'd have to address those issues first.

To be considered for publication, article submissions should fit the following criteria:
- Original content, in other words, it hasn't been posted in other magazines or in blogs.
- We are aiming for a professional tone of voice, using "we" rather than "I" to make the articles more inclusive, and to avoid sounding like a blog post. We also suggest avoiding 2nd person as much as possible, to keep from sounding too preachy (as in, "you might be doing this wrong...)
- Please include an Author Bio with links to your profile and any information (up to 60 words)
- Title reflective of the general theme (up to 60 characters)
- Article length: 500 - 800 words

If you'd like to submit an article about the stars in Sept/October that would be fantastic. If you'd like to expand on this one and address the issues above (namely tone of voice and length), we can send it to the publishers but I can't guarantee that it would make the deadline.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Reiki hugs,

Regina
