often capitalized : of or relating to poetry especially of the early 17th century that is highly intellectual and philosophical and marked by unconventional imagery.
Metaphysical art can be of many different subjects, from angels and spiritual figures, to abstract pictures, photographs and paintings that seem to have other images within the artwork. Many galleries, sacred buildings and places that you can view inspirational art, provide seating so that the viewer can sit and contemplate what they are feeling from the images. These pieces of metaphysical art can take you into a trance like state, affecting your subconscious mind and senses, paintings and images that tend to provoke deep reactions within the viewer.
Have you ever been moved by a piece of artwork, or gazed into an image or photo that has affected you or inspired you? Did you find yourself being drawn into the image and taken on a journey, or found deep meaning flood to you as you pondered the meaning behind the image? Each and every person can relate to such metaphysical images in different ways. Some can feel the energy that emanates from the piece, others can be taken on a magical, awakening, enlightening ride into their subconscious, which can create a bodily response such as goosebumps, chills or a tingling sensation. There have been some that have likened this to a near orgasmic reaction.
Poetry and lyrics can also be placed within the umbrella of metaphysical art. Many musicians and lyricists have said "The words just came to me" Inspirations, inventions and many ideas seem to spring from the subconscious mind. Some tell of reoccurring dreams that lead them to write, create or paint. Automatic writing is one such form of conscious creating, allowing words to flow freely until they start to form sentences filled with deep meaning and revelations. In this place we can recognize channeled messages, words that seem to flow from a place of knowing outside of reality.
An example of the new era of metaphysical art?
Metaphysical art in this case, is the combination of art inspired by spiritual guidance, that is beyond reality, and the energy sensed from such artwork. A creator of metaphysical art intends to imbue the artwork with energetic healing frequencies, and vibrations that can be sensed by the viewer, to awaken interest and meaning within the subconscious mind. The shapes and colours within the image hold unique vibrations of their own.
In the digital images shown below, fractal sections from photographs, taken in the natural world were utilized. These images are intended to emanate a frequency that affects a deep connection within the viewer, a connection that triggers somewhere in the subconscious a reaction to the image. There has been feedback from around the World of many different reactions to these metaphysical images, some have reported profound awakenings and the sensations of activations within their bodies.
Another example of this energy connection would be the subconscious reaction to such images as crop circles. These images are brought forward from the same multi-dimensional group that create the crop circles. This group of energies are known to Metaphysical, Visionary Artist Deb~Aurah as the Arcturians (Archangelic energies). She receives these images through telepathic communication, as a part of the group consciousness. These images are interpretations of the light language that is communicated to her.
Deb~Aurah creates both metaphysical digital images and paintings, combined with energy healing vibrations to inspire and provoke the subconscious mind. These images began coming to her in December of 2007 during reoccurring dreams, they inspired her to begin painting in a very new way. Deb~Aurah began to paint the energy that flooded her consciousness. It now comes to her as no surprise that the first painting to come through this way was entitled "Awakening".
You are invited to engaged with the following piece of metaphysical artwork. Take the time to relax and flow with the image, allow it to "speak" to you on all levels. Go on a journey to a place within, feel, sense, awaken to the possibilities of inspiration.
