My daughter is 7 years old. She found out a friend of ours has cancer, and she cut her hair and donated it to a program that uses hair to make wigs for chemo patients. I'm so proud of her I could bust! :) Just had to share! :)

Thank you so much for posting this. Children have a way of reminding us what's really important, and Lily just did. :) I'm crying happy tears.
When someONE we LOVE, care about, KNOW, IS dealing with something like cancer, many of us feel incapable of DOing anything in the face of this dis-ease and yet........it has BEen shown in numerous studies that well BEyond what any conventional medical treatments can DO, IS the Gift of LOVE, the Gift of Caring, the Gift of Generosity from ONE person's heart to another :o)
YOU, Lily, have given the GREATEST of Gifts to yOUR friend, a gift that although it may NOT BE seen......has ENORMOUS AFFECT in assisting yOUR friend as she journeys through this experience.
On BEhalf of ALL of WE, 'touched by cancer' in some way and for that matter, ANY dis-ease, I thank YOU for BEing such a giving example of our TRUTH.....BEings of Unconditional LOVE.
BLISSedly BE Sweet Angel
