one remembers the past by using thoughts, and anticipates tomorrow while thinking - neither past nor future can be physically experienced - existance is only now

Great question. The best I know of time is if I do not want to feel the present I will either look back or forward in time. Of course it is sometime impractical to be in now all the time ..

That's a very clear, concise thought, Deb - nice work! :)

It brings to mind a quote from Hale Dwoskin of The Sedona Method:

"You have to remember the past, or anticipate the future, in order to have what appears to be a problem ..."

LOL!  I remember that at the time it was a very profound realization :)
