What do any of us really want?
Most of us want to experience being loved and to love. Pretty simple really, but what does this really mean? L'amour, amor, lieben, love, etc...
Opening to love is allowing the energy of opening. ( a strange conundrum) When are we most open, when we have been most ripped open, it is usually by tremendous pain, suffering or sorrow. Something about all of this seems terribly ironic, but fortunately it is simply a vehicle of opening, there are other ways, but it is the most direct.
In CMR we allow this opening to occur in the body, which then gives the mind permission to open. Have you noticed I have not yet mentioned other, and yet other is a profound and often necessary reflection in order to experience this feeling state we call love.
In CMR we often confront feeling states we have buried for a really long time, feeling that have kept us tightly wound up, closed, shut down, invisible, wounded. CMR is about connecting to these feelings so that they can be felt, once and for all, and finally released.
We humans, tend to hang on, often until our last breath, to these feelings that do not allow us to feel open, alive, and able to love. It is time to change all that !
Such a mystery this verb, so overused, meaning such profound and also trite sentiments.
Love, the love we experience when we are shattered, when we finally come through the other side, and realize that our body is an infinite ocean of bliss is the moment we are living for. to surrender to that, to at last feel completely human and know that we are not alone.
This Love is ecstatic, it is an energy that transcends all that we know to be true, about ourselves or other. This Love allows us to finally understand our place in the world and for the first time we no longer feel separate. We understand that we are a part of everything we perceive and it is good. Love is Spirit made manifest. Love is our self revealed to our Self.
And sometimes we have the great good fortune to share this experience with other.
