After having a look at some recent submissions, it is imperative to remind writers, especially NEW writers, to please actively use and refer to our OMTimes Submission Guidelines. The items offered within the OMTimes Writers Community are to be as ready as possible for submission and forwarding to the publishers.
There continue to be embedded links in articles, which goes against our policy for being up-front with our references. "We" take the time to embed any links for SEO purposes, so trying to sneak them in under the radar does not help your cause. We ask that all references made or suggested be used as references at the end of any work you provide. The scorecard is getting a little dismal with repeated reminders on embedded links.
Bio paragraphs ought to be titled "About the Author," and make reference to YOUR work and website, and not some other/outside website you "recommend." Those types of links are considered advertisements, and are, thus, contrary to the guidelines.
Again, please USE and refer our guidelines, and if you still have any questions before posting, message me or any of the other editors. We would rather help your submission be accepted, rather than rejected. ~ Blessings!

Hi! I read the guidelines and have a question.
Am I allowed to post a blog on here, and then share the link of my Facebook page? Just want to be sure Im not breaking any rules and am not clear on this.
Thanks for your time.
Hi, Kareen - as mentioned in another reply to you, we consider contributions here as potential articles for the magazine, but in raw form. What you post is generally enhanced for better visibility by search engines as part of the OMTimes publication, so posting to Facebook or elsewhere would be counter-intuitive initially. Once your article (NOT BLOG) is accepted, optimized, graphically enhanced and presented for publication, you may then choose to cross-post and help promote your published work to be seen widely. In the OMTimes world, patience has its rewards. I hope this answers your question ~ Blessings!
