Sacred Space: 42" x 30" oil on canvas.
The first in a series of Sacred Space paintings by Kristen Ann.
Note: Kristen Ann is re-posting a jpeg copy, so this is here as an interim post.
Thanks Darlene. The above oil painting is my first in a series of arrtwork called "Sacred Space". This one above is 42" wide and was used on the cover of my book "Exploring Sacred Space: A Vast Quest".
My most recent is my favorite. It is 20" x 16" and was created with professional Artist's colored pencils from Europe. It's called "Retreat At The Edge Of Eternity". The floor pattern is a tribute to the evolution of human dna, and the center colors sumbolize the awakening of the upper chakras. I will have a limited edition of signed lithograph prints of it for just $24. They can be ordered at http://exploringsacredspace.com/Retreat_At_The_EdgeofEternity.html.
It's based on the Master's retreat called Shamballa. The book & movie Shangri-la was based on Shamballa legends. Helena Blavatsky & Franz Bardon said that Shamballa exists on the etheric plane or dimension and hovers above ground in the Gobi Desert region.
This series of artwork has a deep spiritual meaning connected to mankind's awakening and spiritual destiny. This is an earlier one. 13" x 21" and is called "Sacred Space: A Long Journey's End". This one was done with soft pastels & pastel pencils. It is dedicated to the mystery of the Hall of Records which Edgar Cayce spoke of. It is due to be found any time now and will bring a great understanding of many mysteries of both mankind's ancient past as well as future destiny.
I had a vision & memory of having been in a procession in ancient times leading up to the center pyramid. In recent years I've become friends with John Bunker, who has done research & is translating Egyptian texts which indicate that the Hall of Records is NOT in the Great Pyramid, or below the right paw of the Sphinx, but is in the Middle Pyramid, which the Sphinx is directly in front of. It is probably accessed from a tunnel below the right paw of the Sphinx, as Cayce indicated.
