Every Whispered Prayer
I knelt in desperation and cried out from my heart.
My dreams had all been broken and along with them my heart.
With no place left to look for help, my efforts all in vain,
I stood in solitary grief, alone to bear the pain.
With words of supplication I called out for relief
from all the darkness closing in and quenching my belief.
A wondrous power came crashing in, which then transported me,
To soar across a rainbow bridge which spanned a crystal sea..
It bore me ever higher, then suspended me in flight
In the presence of three beings who were each comprised of light.
I humbly bowed before them in an awestruck state of grace
As they each imparted knowledge while I tarried in that place.
My heart still fills with wonder, still releases every care,
Recalling all the love & joy I found while being there.
And knowing now, what I now know, my soul can be at rest.,
For naught can be forgotten after being thusly blessed.
My days are filled with gratitude, which I intend to share
As I send out my love & light with every whispered prayer.
