trevor, this is one of the nicest poems i have read in a long time. when is your book coming out? let me know. i am a fan of laurie lee. this reminds me a bit of his work. i am rereading Cider with Rosie and love it, as ever. his poems are also quite wonderful! *hugs* darlene
