When we see the word enlightenment, one wonders what it means?
Do we have the answers for the meaning of enlightenment? When we feel a
sense of self worth for ourselves. We feel empowered, yet is this enlightenment? Maybe!
When our emotional body is obstructed with so many vast issues, we hit the floor many
times before we see what we need to see. We become more authentic, passionate,
beings when this occurs, yet each and everyday we have to work damm hard to be
ourselves. Enlightenment and detachment can have a healthy relationship if
you balance the two. If there is too much of one, and not the other detachment
will win every time. Yet this again is a thought!
Enlightenment and attachment will dance in the wind if they sway side to side. Or if
attachment holds on and tries too hard; they will never sway or dance in the wind.
Is enlightenment brightly lit and positive?
Do people have to feel a loss, pain or suffering, oh and so much more before they even
open their doors to enlightenment? Sometimes it may take many years before we can
discover and learn from what we went through to feel good inside.
Being in the now or the moment means we will not go back to the way we lived in the
past. One has lived, learned each day a new moment, as each day is a mystery.
Each day one must find something new that will enlighten our being.
Would love to get some feed back from others!
I agree with most of it and find this piece thought provoking. Thank you for posting.
Each on their journey it is a process painful bliss-filled empty yet fulled, meeting at cross roads, letting go, detachment from things welcoming new tomorrows or not.
I love your article. And would love for you to connect with a global group I am involved in. my website is www.lovetothelight.weebly.com Blessings and so glad to meet you on this trip of a life time.
Very interesting discussion. You are addressing couple of issues that requires pondering. Being present I think it is a requirement to make our life a mystery as it unfolds. As we experience events (good/bad) and we respond to them we can see/experience our inner light (enlightenment).
