Scam of any kind is unacceptable; it is stealing from other’s that are vulnerable, or trusting of other’s.

In 2006 I got mixed up in it all here is my story:

Well it all started after this woman at work read my angel cards and they said I was going

to meet a man. It was almost instant, this man started to talk with me over the internet.

I had a weird gut feeling about him yet we continued to talk. Then some other people also

entered my life. They  also where from the internet. I had this weird feeling they all were

connected. They started to send me letters saying that I had money in Lome Togo.

I had all these huge deadlines to meet with sending them letters, my passport photo,

driver’s license. Then they wanted money for the court costs, lawyers to get the money

out of Lome. I sent lots over Western Union. I was getting to the point it was draining  

my energy. I told not a soul except these people. One day I had enough so I took it to the

local police I had my computer with me and said “here I don’t want this it’s driving me

crazy” So they took it and went through all my files, emails.

Then they told me I needed to take this to the RCMP as it was a national matter.

Again I sat down with a RCMP police officer and said “take this they are driving me

nuts.” So they did a complete search on my computer. A nice gentleman came to my door

with my computer back. He told me that if I see anything like this to ignore it and delete

it. He said that they could never retrieve my money as the people that where doing this

where over seas. I learned a lot that day that I hope my money went to some people that

needed it in Lome Togo. I also learned that with the hustle and bustle of life and the

internet we must learn to slow down and if we have an inner gut feeling that something

does not feel right go talk with someone. Don’t let silent break you.

I hope other’s can learn, from this and grow as we are not alone in this world.

Learn to have your supports and people you trust and can collaborate and get feedback

with as that is truly a healthy path of living life. Live it fully
