This is the Health & Healing group. Please submit articles that deal directly with topics that impact our physical health & well-being. Ideas include; nutrition, exercise, weight loss, mental health, complementary & alternative medicine etc.

Here are some general guidelines:

  • Title: maximum 60 characters including spaces. The title must be consistent with the theme/message of your article.
  • Article length: 700-1,200 words.
  • Author Bio: Please include a short bio at the end of the post for ease in submission to publishers. Give us no more than 60 words that tell us about you and why you are qualified and/or inspired to write about your topic.

Have a strong opening paragraph that entices the reader and is supported by the rest of the article. Please refrain from using "I" and telling personal stories.

I usually read articles on M/W/F, so it may take me a day or two to respond. Feel free to message me in the community, if you have questions or concerns. I look forward to reading your articles.

In Light,

Angela Levesque

Hi, Lee Ann - Welcome - Our group formats have been inactive for quite some time. Your page right here in the writers' community is the place where you add posts/articles for our consideration. We ask for them to be no longer than 800 words, all must have your bio paragraph included (brief; approx. 60 words), and the editors will message when we have reviewed and are forwarding your work on to the publishers. We do ask that you have your comments unmoderated, so that we can tell when someone has remarked on your contribution. Please feel free to message me if you have any other questions, and I look forward to reading your offerings. ~ Blessings!

Angela, I submitted an article yesterday for consideration. Did I submit it in the correct place? Did you even get it? Thanks Angela Jill

I will be out of the country until April 6th, 2015. I will read articles when I return. If you would like feedback sooner, please contact one of the other editors. Have a great couple of weeks.

Please read my article, "Meditation: A Reset Button for Balance"

For submission, can you copy it from my profile or do I need to paste it in here?

Yes, Dr. Haider. Submit articles that fit into this category and that you want to be considered for inclusion in an upcoming edition.
