Fred's Mom was Right--Look for the Helpers!

Abstract:Fred Rogers’ mom taught him to look for the helpers in times of great difficulty. A lesson for all of us as we face challenges in which soft targets such as schools, places of worship, stores, concerts, sporting events, and shopping malls can in an instant become scenes of unspeakable tragedy. Our helpers are to be found in many places and their love which promotes healing is much stronger than hatred, and the fear in which it is rooted.Fred’s Mom was Right—Look for the Helpers! We are…See More

Truth--So Near Yet So Far Away

Abstract: Our connection to truth—human and Divine—profoundly impacts our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Unfortunately, it is near yet so far away. However, if we are willing to look within to address issues involving ego power, flexibility, and vulnerability, we can remove ego illusions involving inequality, unworthiness, and separation which serve as barriers to knowing, living, and being our truth.Truth—So Near Yet So Far AwayThere is nothing more important to our…See More

Ego Energy #63--The Best of Our Humanity

Ego Energy #63—The Best of Our HumanityAbstract:Our Ego Energy is a mixture of three components—Power, Flexibility, and Vulnerability. The degree to which each is present or absent impacts the way we go about living our daily lives—humanly and spiritually. From the perspective of Ego, Spirit & You, understanding our ego energy helps us to ultimately live the great life we are meant to live! A life in which we are living the best of our humanity in concert with our Divinity.Ego Energy 63:…See More

Have You Met the Lesser Version of Yourself?

Abstract: The journey to becoming the best version of ourselves often involves an important detour. A detour in which we must come face-to-face with a person we may not want to meet but need to meet if our journey is to be completed. This person is the lesser version of ourselves who is being impacted by unhealthy and imbalanced ego energy which will block movement forward along our journey including the spiritual portion of it, until we recognize and deal with it.Have You Met the Lesser…See More

"Mutually Assured Survival"--A Policy We Can All Live With

Abstract: We now live in a world where distance no longer insulates us from each other in times of conflict. The advancement of nuclear, cyber, and biological weaponry technology and the ravages of war fought with them requires a new policy to address international conflicts—Mutually Assured Survival. A policy which can be fashioned from the best of our humanity working in concert with our Divinity, while perceiving it in our opponents, to ensure peace and survival.“Mutually Assured Survival”—A…See More

The 3 Components of Our Ego Energy

AbstractOur ego energy tremendously and consistently impacts our daily lives. Whether we are interacting with people or loved ones, working to achieve with our abilities, dealing with stress, and many other areas of life, it is at work. Unfortunately, our understanding has often been limited to viewing it as the amount of influence we are willing to exert in our lives. This energy is more diverse and we must grow in our understanding of it to appreciate its true impact—humanly and…See More

Being Thankful for Our Service!

AbstractWe have so much to be thankful for is often a sentiment that is not fully recognized by ourselves. The main focus is often on “gifts” we have received such as family, health, employment, nature, or talents. But what about the gift of service we provide to others and ultimately ourselves? Providing an opportunity to help others receive what they need, grow in ways we may need to grow, and being the Love, Life and Energy—God Is, within our service to others. Being Thankful for Our…See More

"To BE or not to BE?"

AbstractShakespeare poses a provocative question—“to be or not to be?”—within the opening to Hamlet’s soliloquy. A choice between the darker challenges of life or the unknown freedoms of death. But is that the question we must really ask ourselves? Or is the real question “to BE or not to BE?” A question asking if we are choosing, often unknowingly, a life-full (to BE) or a life-less (not to BE) existence, in the way we go about living our lives—here and now. “To BE or not to BE?” One of the…See More
