EDITOR of Graduates Association magazine of largest Distance Learning and Research University in Europe (To Oct 2014).

Freelance Editor, Academic and University Articles, UK.

Hi, I am an Honours Graduate in English Law (LL.B (Hons) Law) who has also studied English Language and Literature. I have a passion for the flow, prose, integration, and technical construction of the English Language, and its unique developments in the Commonwealth in particular, and the developing world.

For several years I have been a Member of the Royal Commonwealth Society Club, London, with an ongoing interest in Commonwealth affairs, and am still active with them. Also Alumni of Cape Town University Graduate School of Business. I have travelled widely and have lived in India, Malaya, Africa and the West Indies and have worked in Africa, as well as the United Kingdom, where I now live, in Devon. I have been involved for several years with a UK Charity in Kathmandu, Nepal, that nurtures exiled Tibetans by sheltering and Educating them, particularly in Art Therapy work.

In November 2012 my writings on the Commonwealth were part of a presentation to HM the Queen at the Royal Commonwealth Society, London, where I met the Queen.

My writing was included with a collection of others selected by the Commonwealth Judges, and presented to the Queen, to be included in the JTC Diamond Collection of the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle to be preserved for future generations as part of the history of the Commonwealth.

In April 2013 I was awarded the prestigious Council of The Royal Commonwealth Society Certificate for my writings, on the recommendation of the Panel of the Royal Collection, (Diamond Collection) Windsor Castle.

Same Sex Marriages - the significance of the 700 yr old St Mary Undercroft..

Posted on March 30, 2013 at 8:30am 1 Comment

The most recent and significant development in same sex marriages in the UK was the announcement that the 700 year old Westminster Chapel of St Mary Undercroft which is situated in a holy crypt below the Houses of Parliament in London is to be promoted by the Government to host same sex marriages, and to convert the chapel into a multi faith area.

Ministers from religious denominations, such as Quakers and Liberal Jews, who have indicated they will perform the ceremonies, will be able…

In Praise of Equality: A short essay..

“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.”

―    Benjamin Franklin..

.....I wonder what one of America's Founding Fathers and Philosopher Benjamin Franklin would make of the Supreme Court in the USA today taking a long hard critical look at the untenable Defence of Marriage Act (DOMA),and its validity in the Constitution. A Landmark decision to strike down the 1996 Act, which denies benefits to single-sex couples, seems…

"Islands are special places. They are finite, complete. They are of the sea, and because of that, their land has added value.

An island can become part of you, though perhaps not you part of it.

An island allows you to stop and stare, to look anew at things with which you're familiar, and to find the things with which you aren’t. It gives you chances to look more closely at yourself."

....Armed with the…

Hi Trevor, thanks for your note. A question that I have is - who designs the layout of the pages? Is it based on the subject and content of the article or is that something I need to provide? Thanks.
