Oh so frequently I hear the cry in girlie gatherings “I feel like I don’t know him, he just won’t talk about his feelings!” Ladies, is this your mantra now or maybe in days gone by? I know I have been there and put myself through painful coercion techniques often born out of desperation because “We need to talk” has been the persistent mind torture.
It’s an interesting path strewn with expectations about how our men “should” be versus our willingness to know what we want and seek it…Continue
This summer, as many plan their vacation destinations, a re-occurring theme is seen and felt – the rising cost of petroleum impacts travel plans. Although it does impact my travel adventures as well, after living in other countries and paying almost $4.00 per liter over 12 years ago, I am less likely to complain about the rising costs. Truthfully, I believe after 10 years of fighting, enough doubt has been created and/or substantiated suggesting the current war was about OIL. This leaves…Continue

Patiently Ascending by Judi A. Lynch
Patience...some think this is the ability to endure without crumbling into a heaping mass of hysterical anxiety, self-doubt and constant worry about the future. Just kidding! Patience represents the quality of your endurance to wait out certain situations and watch others manifest and prosper. It's so easy to say that everything will work out for the best, or good things are on the way, but everyone always wants to know when! When will…Continue

Reflection: “Make a decision and then make the decision right." Abraham-Hicks
To do or not to do…
There is another quote that is very similar to the one above by Dr.
Phil McGraw which is, “Sometimes we make the right decision, and sometimes we
have to make the decision right.” I like them both! They are the same. For
better or for worse we make choices. As a matter of fact the…
Freedom is an obvious topic for a July editorial, but not related to the freedom of nations, governments, (federal / states / local) we want to share about the only real freedom there is. These are the freedoms that no individual or government can take away because they are our divine right. We are born with the ability to create personal freedoms, but it takes a life time to reclaim the knowledge in some cases.
Of course there is the need to define what we consider to be…Continue

"When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels"
Does your relationship slip occasionally or frequently into the tit for tat spat? Don’t you just loathe it!
You say something, which granted may not be languaged that well, and your honey beautifully deflects the perceived criticism that’s about to land like a fly, by pointing out that, in their opinion, you do the same or in fact worse!
That puts our back up (triggers you, in my language), the irritant energy between you raises a few notches, you are compelled to retort and…Continue

For many, especially males, it is taboo to express feelings by crying. We all have noticed the fun made of public figures for showing their emotions. It is interesting that it is more acceptable for people to show their anger and frustration (be it inappropriately) rather than cry in public.
I personally welcome expressing my grief and joy with tears. When I am open to crying, I know I have less emotional energy blockage (feel more alive). Crying (expressing our emotions)…Continue

What does it mean to really love yourself?
I’ve heard many answers to that question, but many of those answers meant looking outside of myself for validation from others.
Self-love is not about ego, it is not conceited, judgemental, looking down on others to make yourself feel better. When you really love yourself, you accept yourself for who and what you are. You accept the many different aspects of yourself. You…Continue

ALZHEIMER'S: A discovery "surprise" that can block the disease
A discovery "surprise" has enabled the researchers from University College Dublin to block the Alzheimer's disease. By chance, or almost, these scientists seeking treatment for Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) have blocked the development Alzheimer's disease. Targeting prion proteins responsible for the development of CJD, thus preventing the binding bêta-amyloïde/prion, researchers can block the accumulation of…

Back in 1998, I underwent a very peculiar experience, indeed, thus far at least, a once-in-a-lifetime event, which opened many doors for me and confirmed some of the directions I had previously chosen.
In time, I came to consider this occurrence as an instance of satori, a sudden momentary flash of enlightenment if you will, the intensity of which still resonates with me to this very day.
Satori is a Japanese Buddhist term for enlightenment that…Continue

The subjects of creativity, the creative process, and the workings of the creative mind are often discussed and written about. How can we be more creative? Is creativity the same as productivity? Is creativity something we can develop, like a muscle? I'm not certain that any definitive answers have emerged about these subjects, but I have discovered some limiting beliefs about…Continue
