3 Ways to protect our Aura on an Airplane


In today’s modern era of travel, adventure and exploration, public transportation is has become a necessity. Whether we are traveling for work or pleasure, the experience can leave us feeling drained. We may struggle dealing with the various situations that arise and the energy that attaches itself to it. This is especially relevant if we are an empath. An empath is a person who can literally feel and absorb the energy and emotions of another. By being an empath, we may struggle simply sitting in the presence of others, particularly in such close proximity. It’s almost inevitable that we will feel their energy. Those feelings may range from anxiety, to stress or excitement or frustration.  Everyone has their habits, ticks and preferences and these may only become amplified on an airplane.


Sitting next to a neighbor who constantly shifts in their chair, kicks the back of it or monopolizes the joint armrest can feel energetically heavy and we may start to feel drained. It may be difficult to simply “tune it out”. 


We are not in a hopeless circumstance. Luckily, there are techniques that can help us protect our aura and our energy.  These techniques will aid in the protection of our aura on an airplane providing us with the ability to travel in peace and keep our soul batteries fully charged.


1.  Create a protection box. Imagine a clear protection box that surrounds from top to bottom and all sides. This box is meant to prevent another’s energy to penetrate it. Inside this box, we have the complete ability to push our energy out, not restricted in any way, yet it prevents the energy of our next-door neighbor from permeating inwards. When encountering a situation, simply raise the protection box and feel their energy dissipate. It may take some practice to maintain the box over extended period of times, but with effort and perseverance, it will become more and more natural.


2. Breathe. Slowing down our breath helps us to connect to our higher self. This connection reminds us of source. When we connect to source it puts us in alignment with our soul. Connecting to our soul naturally protects our aura.   Slowing down our breath will slow our heart rate, calm our nerves and reconnect us to our source providing a blanket of protection over our aura.


3. Don’t take it personally. Remembering that although it feels as if someone is invading our space or being inconsiderate, they are simply unaware. The goal isn’t to force them to raise their awareness; it’s to be responsible for raising ours. Knowing that this is not about us and sending them the energy of love and peace will help protect our aura from our own negative feelings.


Sharing space in confined areas calls for us to raise our vibration and protect our auras so that we can avoid feeling drained and frustrated.  These 3 tips can be extremely beneficial in helping us protect our aura.  Most importantly, when we remember we are all one, we can find compassion and empathy in our neighbor. We have all had different upbringings and experiences that have brought us together for this one experience. We do not know another’s circumstances and so sit with an open heart, protected aura and peaceful state of mind. Life is about the journey, let’s embark on the many adventures that lay before us, even it takes an airplane to get us there!

Hi, Colby.  I like the topic here but am thinking that you can broaden it a bit by not restricting it to air travel -- buses, trains, sitting in a crowded doctor's office, standing in a line-- can you revise the title and then add other examples?  I'll forward it to the publishers. Thanks.
