Are Trapped Emotions Sabotaging Your New Year's Resolutions?

If you're like most people, you have probably felt the frustration that comes with making New Year's resolutions and not keeping them. What is it about us human beings that makes it so difficult for us to make these commitments to ourselves and simply keep them?

Believe me, I have been through this myself many times and know what it's like. There was a time in my life that I actually gave up setting goals for myself because it just seemed to be a joke. I would set goals and not reach them so routinely, that I gave up on setting them for a number of years. Pretty sad, right? And, perhaps like you, I've struggled with my weight at times, and I've had difficulty in the past reaching the goals that I had set for myself in that area of my life as well.

So, when we set lofty goals for ourselves, what exactly is it that seems to get in our way? What is it that stops us from reaching these goals easily and fluidly? I would submit to you that there is a secret reason that we do not reach our goals, a reason that is common to every person on the planet, yet is virtually unknown, or at least not understood, by the vast majority of people. It's called "emotional baggage."

You've probably used this phrase yourself, in trying to describe someone who has difficulty living a normal life or having normal relationships. "Oh, he just has a lot of emotional baggage, that poor guy." The fascinating thing is how literally true this statement usually is.

But what is emotional baggage? To answer that question requires a bit of help from quantum physics, believe it or not!

You see, that body of yours is more than just skin and bones, muscles and organs. Take a look at your hand, for example. That hand of yours certainly looks familiar, doesn't it? You've seen that hand a million times before. However, if you were to put your hand under a powerful microscope it would look completely different, wouldn't it? At about 40 times magnification, you would see the swarming cells that make up your hand. If you were to zoom in on a single individual cell, you'd begin to see the different parts that make that cell function, such its nucleus and mitochondria. Continue zooming in, and at about 850,000 times magnification, you would be looking at the molecules that make up those same structures. At about 1 million power magnification, you'd be looking face to face with a single individual atom. If you could look inside that atom, that fundamental building block of everything, you would see that it is filled with… loads of empty space, and some infinitesimally tiny energies zipping around at the speed of light. This is what you really are. You are a being of pure energy. You actually consist of countless numbers of these tiny energies that are all "flying in close formation," giving you this experience that you are having in this phase of your existence, on this planet that we call earth.

It's really quite remarkable when you stop to think about it isn't it?

To understand what our "emotional baggage" actually consists of, it's important to understand that thought is also an energy. We can measure thoughts electronically. Emotions are also energy. The fascinating thing about emotions is that each emotion has its own particular vibrational rate, its own frequency. For example, if you're feeling an emotion of anger, you're feeling a different vibrational resonance, a different frequency of energy than if you were feeling an emotion of sorrow, or frustration, or worry. Sometimes we feel intense emotions. Sometimes we experience difficulties in these lives of ours. Perhaps you've been divorced, perhaps you have been abused. Maybe your father was an alcoholic, and you're still dealing with all of that "baggage." We all experience painful and difficult and sometimes traumatic emotional events. It's during these times, when the emotions are very strong, that our "emotional baggage" gets created. Sometimes an emotion is powerful enough that our whole body is resonating with that frequency, that vibration of anger, or frustration, or grief. If the emotion is powerful enough, if the emotional energy is strong enough, it can somehow become trapped in the body.

Trapped emotions can cause you to make the wrong assumptions, overreact to innocent remarks, misinterpret behavior and short-circuit your relationships. Even worse, trapped emotions can create depression, anxiety and other unwanted feelings that you can’t seem to shake. They can interfere with proper function of your body’s organs and tissues, wreaking havoc with your physical health, causing pain, fatigue and illness. Yet, no matter how great your suffering may be, the invisible energy of trapped emotions will remain undiagnosed by conventional medicine, even though they may be a major causative factor in your physical and emotional difficulties.

So "emotional baggage" is a very real thing. It's not just a fanciful notion. For many people, it is also the single biggest, unrecognized impediment to them reaching their goals, whether they have to do with losing weight, finding love, getting healthier or making more money.

Fortunately, new discoveries are now allowing us to access the database of the subconscious mind in order to find and delete these trapped emotions quickly and easily. This new area of study is often referred to as "Energy Psychology." And there are a variety of different healing methods that have been developed to help you with your "emotional housekeeping."

Many people have found that when they free themselves of their trapped emotions they are able to live healthier and happier lives. The Emotion Code is a simple and powerful method of finding and releasing these trapped energies.

Getting rid of old emotional baggage has helped many people to achieve their goals, to finally lose the excess weight, to find love and even abundance. Getting rid of your old emotional baggage may just bring you a new sense of balance, a new inner calm, and profound healing where nothing else has before.
