Anger is a natural response to specific stimuli, but some people anger more easily than others. In addition, many people with a hot temper may become enraged by things that others may simply be irritated by. Anger can cause you to act irrationally and to say things that you may regret in the future. Learning how to properly manage your anger can improve your quality of life in numerous ways, and these are effective anger management techniques to employ.
Remove Yourself from the Situation
While it may be understandable why specific events or people may irritate you, there is no reason to be exposed to your catalysts for longer than necessary. Continued exposure to those catalysts can magnify your feelings and may eventually lead to you flying off the handle. A smart idea is to remove yourself from the situation as soon as you notice yourself becoming irritable. For example, take a walk, or head to the gym to burn off steam.
Avoid Confrontations and Accusations
When something has irritated you, you understandably may be thinking about confronting the person who has caused you to feel intense stress. Making accusations and pointing fingers rarely is a productive way to deal with a situation. Take time to ask yourself if a confrontation would resolve anything or if the purpose would simply be to make yourself feel better. Calm, focused conversations that have a specific and beneficial purpose should be a goal.
Avoid Triggers
Many people become irritable when they are exposed to triggers. For example, drinking excessively may result in you getting in a bar fight. Dealing with assault charges and hiring a may be avoided if you can pinpoint your triggers and take active steps to avoid exposing yourself to them.
Seek Anger Management Therapy
Many people like you struggle to control anger, and there are support groups and therapy sessions designed specifically to help people who are dealing with this issue. Through anger management therapy, you may gain fresh insight about your problem. You may also learn about ways to diffuse situations or alleviate your negative feelings before they multiply.
While many people lose their temper from time to time, some people reach an irate state quickly and with minimal stimuli. If you can relate to this, you may understand how detrimental your anger management problem may be to your life in general and to your relationships. Take steps to curb your anger on your own, or seek professional assistance as needed.

Hi Rachelle, I would like to see at least 500 words next time. Good to see you are back. Happy New year. This will be published on Feb B edition.
Definitely, something we need to put out there for people to hear. Thank you for a great write.
I would like to get it to publishing for the magazine asap, however can you first be sure that it reflects the following:
Abstract at the beginning with a word count
Word count of 600 to 100 words (currently 416 words)
Be sure to add a bio to the end (approximately 60 words) with a link to where readers can find you if that is what you wish.
When you respond to this comment I will get an email notification to let me know you have seen it. I would love to share it with the magazine, so if you can get on this as soon as you can, it would be greatly appreciated.
