“Ground Flax, Chia, and Quinoa for Great Health”

“Here is a healthy mixture I make for my own use...

that you will love.” 

Take a coffee grinder and put in equal amounts of brown flaxseeds, chia seeds, and quinoa seeds, and a teaspoon of cinnamon… then grind the mixture very fine.

Take 2 teaspoon and up to 2 tablespoons of this mixture and pour it over your breakfast cereal. 

This mixture gives your cereal a nutty cinnamon flavor that’s wonderful.  

Chia Seeds are packed full of Omega 3 fatty acids… in fact more Omega oils than wild salmon (good for your heart), and more protein than kidney beans, plus more magnesium than broccoli, more iron than spinach, more potassium than bananas, more calcium than milk, more selenium than flax seeds, more antioxidants than blueberries, and more great fiber than wheat bran. 

Chia seeds have a nutty flavor and in Mexico they make a drink of ground Chia Seeds that’s great! And you can add them to yogurt, muffins, salads, and your breakfast oatmeal. 

A study was done at the University of Toronto showing that people who started eating Chia Seeds dropped their blood pressure by 10 points. 

And Chia Seeds will boost your energy level and in Mexico the Aztec warriors used them for endurance. Chia Seeds have a low glycemic index, that means they release sugars slowly into your system for sustained energy, keep you from getting hungry, so you lose weight… and they are great for diabetics.

Quinoa seeds are also great for the body, and they are not a grain they are a true grass seed that comes from South America. 

Quinoa contains lots of antioxidants such as quercetin and kaempferol which help with inflammation, it’s also antiviral, and helps with mood regulation. Plus like all antioxidants quinoa helps with cardiovascular health and helps to prevent cancer. 

Quinoa is very high in fiber making it great for creating a good environment for probiotic bacteria to grow in your colon… and thus help to boost up your immune system.   

Quinoa also contains soluble and insoluble fiber like that of oatmeal that helps to lower cholesterol and reduce blood sugar levels and helps with weight loss. 

Plus quinoa is a complete protein making it great for those who are vegans and vegetarians.

Flaxseeds are great for the body because they also have lots of fiber that creates a good environment for probiotic bacteria. 

Flax also contain lots of omega fatty acids that help to prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. Flaxseeds also contain lots of lignans that help to boost our immune system and regulate our hormonal system. 

Flaxseeds also help to repair DNA damage and slow the aging process. Flaxseeds are also a good anti-inflammatory food that works wonders for arthritis, joint pain, swelling, and other degenerative inflammatory diseases. 

Flaxseeds create a mucus like substance which helps to protect the GI tract and reduce the risk of colon cancer and GI masses… plus sooth the colon. 

Plus flaxseeds work wonders for supporting those going through menopause with estrogen like plant sterols. 

This mixture is good for your body and will keep you healthy… plus it tastes great.
