Having a hard time communicating with old friends?

You may be growing spiritually, while all the people in your life are not growing. Only 3% of the people will grow as human beings to take on their full potential. As we grow it seems we are more and more alone, yet it only seems that way... because we’re surrounded by the same people we’ve known for years... people who are not growing and don’t understand.

It takes breaking free of our old ways of being to become who we really want to be spiritually... instead of being the person society wants us to be. That takes guts! And most people won’t take the chance of not fitting in... and many times old friends want the old you back and don’t want  you to grow. 

But true friends want and expect you to grow, they notice your spiritual struggles and understand... because they too have gone down the same path.

Those that want to know more about themselves and their spiritual growth will not stop, they are driven to grow as human beings. They start reading spiritual books, reading about about the wisdom of the masters, they are on the look out for new spiritual experiences, they start meditating, sitting in silence, and being in nature, they end old habits... habits that don’t serve them any more , and take on new habits and hobbies that are good for the soul... and the planet.

Before long they reach out and find new friends, friends who are also driven to search and find the essence of who they are.
